From a large and an incredibly diverse artistic heritage of the artist we have chosen several themes for this exhibition. We will show his implemented and unimplemented monumental mural designs, together with the paintings and graphic works devoted to Russian folk tales, fairy tales of Scheherazade from "A Thousand and One Night", Pushkin's fairy-tales and the tragedy "Boris Godunov", works based on Rimsky-Korsakov's opera "Sadko", Goethe's tragedy "Faust" and on William Shakespeare's plays "Romeo and Juliet" and "King Lear".
